Editor's review

Do you access the net via a dial-up connection? If so, you might be using the Windows default dialing tool or a third-party program that remembers your password and maybe even logs the call time and duration. But most dial-up utilities are single-featured: their main task is to get your computer connected to the Internet and keep that connection from breaking up. TICK is a great enhancement tool for any dial-up software.
TICK will not substitute your dial-up utility but enhance it. It has everything from call cost calculation to email notification. The program has a straightforward, no-nonsense interface with dozens of options to choose from. Just a brief glance at the program's features shows us an advanced cost calculation where you can enter different costs for different times even if your ISP charged you a progressive rate and had different fees for each hour of the day.
You can also specify which programs to run when the connection is established and which to close when the connection is broken. There's a floating status window that shows you the customizable information about your connection. Download this free tool today and check it out yourself.
